I graduated from Atlantic High School in 1986, PBCC with an Associates Degree in 1990, and in 1999 from PBCC Dental Hygiene with Honors.
I started in the dental field working in the corporate office of a large dental group. I did payroll and AR for seven dental offices, a dental laboratory, and dental supply office. I then worked in one of those offices to learn the dental side of the company, where I worked both as a dental assistant as well as at the front desk. I then went back to school to become a hygienist. I starting working with Dr. Charlie Simon part time, and then full time.
I am married with three children, 20, 19 and 8. The older children are girls, and are in college. The younger is a boy, thank God, who keeps me young.
I was born at Bethesda Hospital in 1968. I have lived here all my life except one year where I lived in Connecticut. My family has resided in this area since the early 1900’s.
When not at the office I enjoy traveling, but more than likely I’ll be working in the yard, or at the beach.
What I enjoy most about dentistry is building relationships with my patients so that together we can improve their oral health and overall well being.
There are several reasons I work in this office. The first being the great patients that we have here in our practice. Next, the quality dentistry that is performed here, which makes me sleep well at night. Lastly, the people I work with. They all are caring people, who love helping our patients.
